This quilt was designed for a mystery workshop where we sewed late into the night. Two simple blocks combine to create a twisted ribbon illusion. A castle wall border completes the quilt. Pieced borders add so much to a quilt. And they'll score you extra points with the judges too. Only 3 fabrics to choose...with good contrast between all three. Try brights on black...Amish style. Or choose a background with real interest and twisters to stand out against it...gone are the days that background means white on white.
