Here we go with another variation of the Log Cabin block...my original sample was done with red, purple, turquoise, fuschia and emerald on a black background... WOW. Anything goes here. Mix up 8 fabrics with a contrasting background for a striking table topper or wall hanging that suits your own taste.

My patterns are designed to be doable by beginners and yet not look too elementary. Quick piecing and precise trimming will help you build these "center out" blocks that lay flat. Though there are points all around the block, careful designing means only 4 points to match. Instructions include block adaptations for a full size quilt.
