My fourth mystery quilt design. It's a mystery to me why everyone is afraid of stripes, so I designed a quilt to feature a striped fabric. No complicated ways to cut it, or piece it...no matching it or mitering it. Armed only with some specific guidelines on how to choose an appropriate stripe, and the 12 fabrics to go with it, 35 brave quilters turned out to produce 35 amazing quilts...truly our most successful mystery quilt event so far! They were glued to their sewing machines. No angles, and planned fabric placement speed things up along the way.
